Extended display program
Google says a limited number of Pixel 8 phones may develop a vertical line or flicker. An eligible unit can receive one display replacement after Google checks its identifier and inspects the phone. Cracked glass, liquid intrusion or other damage can affect coverage. The program is not a general screen warranty and does not automatically apply to the Pixel 8 Pro.
Battery and paid screen repairs
A worn battery or a screen outside the extended program is a paid repair. The sealed phone needs fresh adhesive after opening. Part supply and service options vary by market, and Pixel 8 Pro parts and program terms are different.
Buying a used Pixel 8
Display lines or flicker can appear at different brightness settings. Google or an authorized partner determines program eligibility after checking the device identifier and damage; a seller cannot promise coverage.
